S represents three-phase, 20 represents energy consumption level, which meets the national second level energy efficiency standard. The S20 oil immersed transformer meets the requirements of the second level energy efficiency standard for electrical steel strips in GB20052-2020 Energy Efficiency Limits and Grades for Power Transformers.
The shell adopts a fully enclosed shell, suitable for outdoor wind and rain environments, and is often used in remote mountainous areas and rural power grid renovation projects.
The difference between S20 transformer and S13 transformer mainly lies in the loss aspect. S20 transformer reduces the no-load loss and load loss by 10% compared to S13 transformer. In other words, the S20-M series transformer is more in line with the national concept of energy conservation and emission reduction, and can maximize energy-saving transformers during power grid operation.
