This accreditation not only serves as an authoritative validation of WBEC's R&D capabilities and innovation prowess but also marks the company's official entry into the "first tier" of China's national technological innovation system. With its technological innovation capabilities now ranking among the industry's top echelons, WBEC has emerged as a new driving force and benchmark in advancing high-quality development within China's smart power transmission and distribution sector.

The National Enterprise Technology Center, established by the Chinese government to stimulate corporate innovation vitality and enhance industrial core competitiveness, represents the highest-level R&D platform in China. Its evaluation criteria encompass key indicators such as R&D investment, talent teams, and technology commercialization. WBEC has successfully passed the rigorous review process and become one of the few enterprises in the power equipment sector to receive the honor this year, leveraging its technological expertise in smart power transmission and distribution equipment, sustained innovation-driven R&D mechanisms, and significant industry contributions.

Relying on its strong technological innovation capabilities, the company has developed new products in recent years including low core loss low noise high magnetic induction grain-oriented electrical steel, Grade 1/2 energy efficiency 500kV and below energy-efficient power transformers, electrified railway traction transformers, amorphous alloy transformers, three-dimensional wound core transformers, Elink-H35 intelligent energy storage grid-connected prefabricated substations, new energy photovoltaic and wind power intelligent complete electrical equipment and other new products which are widely used in power transmission and distribution networks, rail transit, new energy power generation, data centers, energy conservation and environmental protection and other fields serving leading enterprises such as State Grid and China Southern Power Grid with its market share remaining among the top in the industry.

    New products developed by the company, including the innovative SCOTT Balance Transformer, SF6 Gas Insulated Traction Transformer, and energy-efficient traction transformers, have been deployed in multiple domestic electrified railway mainlines and high-speed railways such as the Beijing-Xiongan, Beijing-Zhangjiakou, and Shanghai-Kunming lines. With the advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative and the high-speed rail overseas expansion strategy, traction transformers have been mass-exported to electrified railway projects such as the China-Laos Railway, Ethiopia, and Egypt.

    The company's Grade 1 energy efficiency power transformers achieve an average loss reduction of approximately 20%, while Grade 2 energy efficiency power transformers reduce losses by around 25%. Its three-dimensional wound core amorphous alloy transformers exhibit an average loss reduction of 30-50%. The company has conducted full lifecycle carbon footprint assessment reports for major products such as high-efficiency energy-saving oil-immersed transformers and dry-type transformers, obtaining third-party low-carbon product certification—positions it in a leading industry role. Additionally, its energy-efficient transformers have secured 13 energy conservation product certification certificates in accordance with the China Energy Conservation Product Certification Rules for Power Transformers (CQM61-3821-04-2021).

    The smart development of new energy equipment has driven the company's product transformation and upgrading, achieving modular design, functional integration, and high-level system integration. Equipped with intelligent online monitoring, automatic control of operating environments, asset management, and automated operation and maintenance functions, the products feature wide application scope, high protection levels, and strong environmental adaptability, winning widespread acclaim from customers.

    For the preparation and production of high magnetic induction grain-oriented electrical steel, based on the influence of key process steps on the microstructure and properties of grain-oriented electrical steel, extensive research has been conducted on rare earth microalloying composition design, inhibitor formation and controlled nitriding treatment, surface insulation coating, and laser scribing for magnetic domain refinement, with multiple key core technologies mastered. The company has newly built a full-process 80,000-ton high magnetic induction grain-oriented silicon steel production line, achieving stable mass production of C23QH080/C23QH085 grades. With product performance reaching internationally advanced levels, this has propelled the further development of key technologies for high-quality grain-oriented electrical steel within the industry.

    The company has intensified its informatization efforts by integrating core information systems such as ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), WMS (Warehouse Management System), and WCS (Warehouse Control System) to build a smart manufacturing management and decision-making platform, establishing a smart manufacturing system covering intelligent equipment, intelligent production, and intelligent operations. Focused on breaking through green technologies for core manufacturing processes and green product development, the company has continuously carried out a series of technical transformation projects aimed at "energy conservation, emission reduction, and efficiency enhancement," striving to create a "zero carbon, zero emissions" factory.
