38.12 Million Yuan! Malaysian Order was Obtained by WBEC

In September 2023, YTEC won the bid for the traction substation main transformer project of Malaysia East Coast Railway Project, with a winning amount of RMB 38.12 million. At present, it has entered the substantive performance stage. YTEC is a subsidiary of WBEC, and the fulfillment of this order is of great significance for the company's overseas market expansion.

The Malaysia East Coast Railway is an infrastructure construction project in the East Coast Economic Zone of Malaysia, with a total length of approximately 650 kilometers. As the flagship project of China Malaysia cooperation on the "the Belt and Road", the project is regarded as a "road bridge" connecting the east and west coasts. After completion, it will promote the development along the railway and greatly improve the efficiency of freight and passenger transport between regions.

In the first half of this year, WBEC successfully acquired Yunnan Transformer Electric Co., Ltd. (YTEC), a subsidiary of China South Industries Group Co., Ltd., achieving production capacity coverage for voltage levels below 500kV in the transformer field, forming an integrated industrial chain from oriented silicon steel - silicon steel core - power transformer - box type substation/complete electrical equipment - maintenance and operation installation services.
