The company owns three subsidiaries including Yunnan Transformer Electric Co., Ltd., Chongqing Huize Electric Co., Ltd., Qiannan Wangjiang Transformer Co., Ltd., and holds shares in Chongqing Energy Investment Changshou Economic and Technological Development Zone Power Sales Co., Ltd. It was listed on the main board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange on April 28, 2022, with the stock abbreviation "WANGBIAN ELECTRIC" and the code "603191". On April 1, 2024, it successfully acquired the 88-year-old Yunnan Transformer Electric Co., Ltd. (formerly a subsidiary of the China South Industries Group Corporation). It is expected to achieve revenue of more than 4 billion yuan in 2024.

The company is headquartered in Jiangbeizui Financial Center, Chongqing, with its main production bases located in Changshou, Chongqing, Kunming, Yunnan, and Duyun, Guizhou.
