On September 11, YTEC (Yunnan Transformer Electric Co., Ltd.) was filled with a festive atmosphere. More than 100 people, including leaders of the Kunming Economic Development Zone Management Committee and the Investment Cooperation Bureau, leaders of the project design, construction, and supervision parties, members of the company's leadership team and all middle-level cadres, some employee representatives, and construction party employees, witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony for the railway traction power supply equipment technical upgrade and transformation project.

Leaders from all parties jointly laid the foundation stone for the project

The project mainly focuses on the company's research and development, manufacturing technology capabilities and production capacity improvement of railway traction power supply equipment. A new railway traction power supply equipment manufacturing plant, production supporting buildings and ancillary facilities will be built with a new building area of approximately 7,400 square meters. The purchase of domestic leading CNC equipment and inspection and testing instruments for the research and development and manufacturing of traction power supply equipment will effectively improve the technology research and development capabilities, product quality and production capacity, meet the needs of high-end equipment in the railway network, and further consolidate the domestic leading level of YTEC's traction transformers.

It is understood that since YTEC joined WBEC in April this year, the integration of the two parties has progressed smoothly, business collaboration has been steadily promoted, and resource sharing competitiveness has been enhanced; currently, YTEC's orders are saturated, and production and operations continue to improve.
