In order to boost exchanges among enterprises in the Economic Development Zone and enrich the spare time of employees, a staff sports meeting organized by the Economic Development Zone Federation of Trade Unions was recently held at the Taohua Sports Center Basketball Hall in Changshou District. In order to stimulate the sports enthusiasm of the whole company, our company formed a basketball team under the call of the trade union and the party and youth league branches, and actively responded to the competition.

The basketball tournament officially commenced on June 12th. Our inaugural match was against Zhongfashuiwu. Under the guidance of our coach and team leader, the basketball players demonstrated a high level of competition, exhibiting swift dribbling, aggressive offense, and solid defense. Ultimately, our basketball team emerged victorious with a commanding 5-point lead.

On June 13, in our second game against Boteng, both teams were evenly matched and fully focused. They strictly adhered to their defensive strategies, fiercely contested for the ball, and demonstrated excellent teamwork. However, despite our continuous efforts to narrow the score gap in the last quarter under the tactical guidance of the coach, we ultimately lost by a small margin.

In a basketball game, it showcases not only skills but also a certain spirit. The heroic basketball players on the court are united and they never give up; with the vigor of youth, they can overcome challenges with courage, both on and off the court. They epitomize vitality in work and life, serving as an epitome of vitality for all our staff. While the basketball game is temporary, its spirit will be perpetually inherited and developed.
